Slowly backseat (open-turn counterclockwise)the suction line shut off valve.B. Slowly backseat (open-turn counterclockwise)the liquid line shut off valve.C. Slowly backseat (open-turn counterclockwise)the receiver service valve.NOTE: You will not hear refrigerant flow when the valvesare opened. Refrigerant will not flow until the toggleswitch is placed in the ice position and the solenoidvalve opens.OPEN SUCTION AND LIQUID LINE SHUT OFF VALVESVerify O-ring in schrader valve caps are intact andreinstall on shut off valves to prevent refrigerant leakage.Replace shut off valve access caps and torque to thefollowing specifications.Torque Value’sReplace cap on receiver service valve and tighten.Open Receiver Service ValveThere is a liquid line solenoid valve at the outlet of thereceiver; refrigerant will not flow to the condensing unituntil the ice machine head section is started. Connectpower to both the ice machine head section and theremote condensing unit. Place the ICE/OFF/CLEANtoggle switch into the ICE position, this will allowrefrigerant to enter the line set and condensing unit.! CautionAfter opening suction, discharge and receiver servicevalves, refrigerant pressure will not be detected untilthe toggle switch is placed in the ice position and theliquid line solenoid valve energizes.USE ALLEN WRENCH TO OPEN(TURN COUNTERCLOCKWISE)LIQUID AND SUCTION LINESHUT OFF VALVES SV1762ImportantAll refrigeration valve caps must be reinstalled toprevent future refrigeration leaks.Stem 18-20 ft. lbs.Caps 12-15 ft. lbs.Schrader Core 1.5-3 in. lbs.TURNCOUNTERCLOCKWISESV1756RECEIVER SERVICE VALVE CAP(TURN COUNTERCLOCKWISETO REMOVE)
