In this mode, the T 585 willautomatically switch between Dolby Digital and PCM depending onthe program encoded on the disc, with Dolby Digital given priority. DTSis not possible with this setting.Stream/pcm: Select Stream/PCM if an active digital output is suppliedto an amplifier or other equipment with DTS decoder, Dolby Digitaldecoder and MPEG decoder. If the disc is neither of stream or PCMformat, there will be no audio output at this option.pcm: Select when connected to a two-channel digital stereo amplifier.DVDs encoded in Dolby Digital or MPEG will be automaticallydownmixed to two-channel PCM audio. DTS cannot be downmixed totwo-channel PCM.off: Select to turn off digital audio output. If Front L/Rspeaker’s size is set to “Small”, Rear and Centre speaker’s size can only be setto “Small” or “None”.Subwoofer’s size can be set only to “Large” or “None”.volumeAdjust the output level of the selected speaker from -10dB up to amaximum of 0dB.diStanceSetting the Distance lets the speakers know how far the sound has to travelto reach your set listening point.
