Tochange the community to another and register it, use the [SNMPCommunity] list box in the [General] tab. To allow NEC ESMPRO Agent to receive SNMP packets sent from NECESMPRO Manager, set the send community name in NEC ESMPROManager to be the same as that accepted by the SNMP Service in NECESMPRO Agent.7. Terminate the network setup.IMPORTANT: If the SNMP Service is added after adaptation of the service pack ininstallation of OS, adapt the service pack again. If not, the SNMP Servicemay not operate correctly. This then disables NEC ESMPRO Agent to beoperated. The SNMP Service is required for operating NEC ESMPRO Agent. If theSNMP Service is deleted after the installation of NEC ESMPRO Agent,install the SNMP Service and then reinstall NEC ESMPRO Agent. Some software products provided by other vendors use the SNMP Service.If the SNMP Service and NEC ESMPRO Agent are installed in the systemin which such software as above is installed, it may be impossible to startNEC ESMPRO Agent services. If so, delete the SNMP Service once andinstall the service again. After which, reinstall NEC ESMPRO Agent and theother vendor's software.System UpdateTo install NEC ESMPRO Agent, necipmi.sys needs to be installed in advance.
