283. Convenient Features Changing Eco Mode/Checking Energy-Saving Effect Using EcoMode [ECO MODE]This feature enables you to select two brightness modes of the lamp:OFF and ON modes. The lamp life can be extended by turning on the [ECO MODE].[ECO MODE] Description[OFF] This is the default setting (100% Brightness).[ON] Low lamp power consumption (approx. 80% Brightness).To turn on the [ECO MODE], do the following:1. Press the ECO button on the remote control to display [ECO MODE] screen.2. Use the or button to select [ON].3. Press the ENTER button.To change from [ON] to [OFF], Go back to Step 2 and select [OFF]. Repeat Step 3.NOTE:• The [ECO MODE] can be changed by using the menu.Select [SETUP] → [BASIC] → [ECO MODE].• The lamp life remaining and lamp hours used can be checked in [USAGE TIME]. Select [INFO.] →[USAGE TIME].• [ECO MODE] is always set to [OFF] for 1 minute immediately after the lamp is turned on. The lamp condition will not be affectedeven when [ECO MODE] is changed.• After a lapse of 1 minute from when the projector displays a blue, black or logo screen, [ECO MODE] will automatically switch to[ON].• If the projector is overheated in [OFF] mode, there may be a case where the [ECO MODE] automatically changes to [ON] modeto protect the projector. This is called “Forced ECO Mode”. When the projector is in the Forced Eco Mode, the picture brightnessdecreases slightly and the TEMP. indicator lights orange. At the same time the Thermometer symbol [ ] is displayed at thebottom right of the screen.When the projector comes back to normal temperature, the Forced Eco Mode is cancelled and the [ECO MODE] returns to [OFF]mode.2. Press the button.The area of the magnified image will be moved3.
