It consists of 8 channels (ANI0 to ANI7) withan 8-bit resolution.The conversion method is based on successive approximation and the conversion result is held in the 8-bitA/D conversion result register (ADCR).A/D conversion can be started in the following two ways.(1) Hardware startConversion is started by trigger input (INTP3).(2) Software startConversion is started by setting the A/D converter mode register (ADM).Select one channel of analog input from ANI0 to ANI7 and carry out A/D conversion. In the case of a hardwarestart, when A/D conversion finishes, the A/D converter stops and an interrupt request (INTAD) is generated. Inthe case of a software start, the A/D conversion operation is repeated. Each time an A/D conversion operationends, an interrupt request (INTAD) is generated.12.2 A/D Converter ConfigurationThe A/D converter consists of the following hardware.Table 12-1.
