Installing the SD Card2. SD Card installed10.2 SD Card supportThe SD Card can be used to store drive parameter sets and / or PLCprograms set from the Digitax HD in data blocks 001 to 499 on the card.If the read only flag is set then only codes 6yyy or 9777 are effective.Figure 10-2 Basic SD Card operationThe whole card may be protected from writing or erasing by setting theread-only flag as detailed section 10.3.9 9888 / 9777 - Setting andclearing the SD Card read only flag on page 132.The card should not be removed during data transfer, as the drive willproduce a trip. If this occurs then either the transfer should bereattempted or in the case of a card to drive transfer, default parametersshould be loaded.Beware of possible live terminals when installing theSD Card.WARNING12NOTENOTEBootDrive reads allparameters fromthe SD CardPr 00.030 = Read +Programs all driveparameters to theSD CardOverwrites anydata already indata block 1Pr 00.030 = Program +Drive automaticallywrites to the SD Cardwhen a parametersave is performedAutoSavePr 00.030 = Auto +AutoSaveDrive boots from theSD Card on powerupand automaticallywrites to the SD Cardwhen a parametersave is performedPr 00.030 = Boot +
