The cameracan focus at the shortest distances when F and thezoom indicator glow green with the zoom indicatorpositioned to the left (wider angle) of K.• At the zoom position one step to the right (telephoto)of the maximum wide-angle zoom position, thecamera can focus on subjects as close as 8 cm (3.2 in.) to the lens. At the maximumwide-angle zoom position and K zoom position, the camera can focus at a distanceof 20 cm (8 in.).C AutofocusWhen using A (auto) mode, if Autofocus mode (A 48) is set to Full-time AF, the camera focusescontinuously until focus is locked when the shutter-release button is pressed halfway.
