SC6500|Problem Cause CorrectionThe scrub systemwill not operate(continued)Left brush motor contactorcoil open (error code 22displayed)1. Check for an open circuit in the K4 coil and wiring(wire colors VIO and GRA/RED)2. Test for 36V at the K4 coil. If you get 0 Volts,check the A2 control board assembly.Left brush motor contactorcoil short to ground (errorcode 23 displayed)1. Disconnect the K4 coil wiring (wire colors VIOand GRA/RED) and check to see if the codedisappears.− If the code disappears, replace the brushcontactor.− If the code does reappear, test the wiring fora short back to the battery ground. Repair orreplace the defective wire.2. If the above test doesn’t remove the code,substitute a new A2 control board assembly.Center brush motorcontactor coil open (errorcode 24 displayed)1. Check for an open circuit in the K3 coil and wiring(wire colors VIO and WHT/VIO)2. Test for 36V at the K3 coil. If you get 0 Volts,check the A2 control board assembly.Center brush motorcontactor coil short toground (error code 25displayed)1. Disconnect the K3 coil wiring (wire colors VIOand WHT/VIO) and check to see if the codedisappears.− If the code disappears, replace the brushcontactor.− If the code does reappear, test the wiring fora short back to the battery ground. Repair orreplace the defective wire.2. If the above test doesn’t remove the code,substitute a new A2 control board assembly.Right brush motor contactorcoil open (error code 26displayed)1. Check for an open circuit in the K2 coil and wiring(wire colors VIO and YEL/BLU)2. Test for 36V at the K2 coil. If you get 0 Volts,check the A2 control board assembly.Right brush motor contactorcoil short to ground (errorcode 27 displayed)1. Disconnect the K2 coil wiring (wire colors VIOand YEL/BLU) and check to see if the codedisappears.− If the code disappears, replace the brushcontactor.− If the code does reappear, test the wiring fora short back to the battery ground. Repair orreplace the defective wire.2. If the above test doesn’t remove the code,substitute a new A2 control board assembly.
