SC6500|Squeegee AdjustmentThere are two major squeegee tool adjustments–height and angle. The recommended procedure is to set thesqueegee angle first, then adjust the squeegee blade height.To Adjust the Squeegee AngleAdjust the squeegee anglewhenever a blade is reversed orreplaced, or if the squeegee is notwiping the floor dry.1. Park the machine on a flat,even surface and lower thesqueegee.2. Drive the machine forwardenough to have the squeegeeblades fold over to the rear asshown in the detail drawing.3. Turn the Tilt AdjustmentKnob to tilt the tool forwardor backward until the rearsqueegee wiping blade touchesthe floor evenly across itsentire width.To Adjust the Squeegee BladeHeightAdjust the squeegee heightwhenever a blade is reversed orreplaced, or if the squeegee is notwiping the floor dry. The squeegeeblade height is easily adjustableat the caster wheels. To adjust thesqueegee blade height:1. Park the machine on a flat, even surface and lower the squeegee.2. Drive the machine forward enough to have the squeegee blades fold over to the rear as shown in thedetail drawing.3. Rotate the Caster Adjustment Knobs clockwise to lift the squeegee, or counterclockwise to lower it. Astarting point when replacing the blades is to adjust the caster-mounting bracket so it is level (parallel)to the top of the squeegee tool.Note: The right and left caster wheels must be adjusted equally to maintain level and even bladepressure.TiltAdjustmentKnobCasterAdjustmentKnob (2)
