PitcherIMPORTANT: Make sure that the motorbase is plugged in for use.1 Place the motor base on a clean, dry, levelsurface such as a counter or table top.2 Align and lower the Pitcher onto the motorbase. (Fig. 1) Handle should be alignedslightly to the right of the “LOCK” symbol onthe motor base.3 Rotate the container to the left as far as it willgo to lock in place. As the pitcher rotates, itwill lower and the safety tabs on the bottomof the pitcher will slide under the safety tabson the top of the motor base. (Fig. 2)4 The pitcher can be placed on the motor basetwo ways; the handle can be on the front rightcorner or the front left corner.(Fig. 3a, Fig. 3b)5 Holding the 6-Blade Assembly by the top ofthe shaft, place it onto the drive gear insidethe container. Ensure that the attachment isseated properly and is standing upright.(Fig. 4)NOTE: The blade will fit loosely on the drivegear.6 Add the ingredients to the pitcher, makingsure that they do not exceed the highestmeasured marking line on the side of thebowl.NOTE: If you need to add additionalingredients while the appliance is processing,open the pouring spout cap and pour theingredients in through the opening.7 Plug the power cord into the electrical outletand press the power button ( ).NOTE: As a safety feature, the power button( ) will flash and the motor will not workif the container and lid are not installedcorrectly.
