MessagesIf you have subscribed to a messagingservice through your wirelessprovider, you can send and receivemessages to compatible phones thatalso subscribe to a compatiblemessage service. You may also beable to send and receive picturemessages, and e-mail messages.Note: When sendingmessages, your device maydisplay Message sent. This isan indication that themessage has been sent byyour device to the network.This is not an indication thatthe message has beenreceived at the intendeddestination. For more details,about messaging services,check with your serviceprovider.■ Text messagesIn the standby mode, select Menu >Messages > Text messages and fromthe following:Create message > Text — Allows youto create and send messages. Editmessage allows you to create or edityour message. Add number, Adde-mail, and Add list allows you toselect the message recipients. SelectList recipients to see current list ofrecipients. Select Send to send themessage.Create message > Numeric page —Allows you to send numeric pages.Callback no. allows you to edit yourcallback number. Add number andAdd list allows you to select themessage recipients. Select Listrecipients to see current list ofrecipients. Select Send to send themessage.Inbox — Allows you to check forreceived messages.Sent items — Allows you to check forsent messages.Archive — Allows you to savemessages in an archive.Templates — Inlcudes a selection oftemplates for creating messages.My folders — Allows you to createand name your personal folders.Distribution lists — Allows you tocreate and edit your personalmailing list for contacts.Delete messages — Allows you todelete messages from a selectedfolder or all folders. |
