44V o i c e9. Voice■ Voice diallingYou can dial up to 25 storednumbers using voice dialling.Before using voice tags, note thefollowing:• Voice tags are not languagedependent. They are dependenton the speaker’s voice.• You must say the name exactly asyou said it when you recorded it.• Voice tags are sensitive tobackground noise. Record voicetags and use them in a quietenvironment.• Very short names are not accepted.Use long names, and avoid similarnames for different numbers.Note: Using voice tags maybe difficult in a noisyenvironment or during anemergency, so you should notrely solely upon voice diallingin all circumstances.Assign a voice tag to an entryBefore you can use voice dialling,you must first assign a voice tag tothe number.1. In the standby mode, scroll downto enter the contacts list.2. Highlight the contact you wantto assign a voice tag, selectDetails > Options > Add voice tag.3. Select Start, then speak clearlyinto the microphone.Do not select Quit unless you wantto cancel the recording.The phone automatically stopsrecording, saves, and replays thevoice tag. appears next to thephone numbers which have voicetags assigned.If recording is not successful, yourphone displays Voice system error.Select Options > Add voice tag, andrepeat step 3.Dial a number1. Select and hold Contacts.2. When you hear several beeps andSpeak now appears, release thekey.3. Pronounce the voice tag clearlyinto the microphone.When the phone finds the voicetag, Found: appears, and thephone automatically dials thenumber. If the phone does notlocate a number or recognise thevoice tag, No match found appears.
