In standby mode, select Menu andscroll through the main menus.As you scroll throughthe menus, the menunumber appears in theupper right corner ofthe display. Below the number is ascroll bar with a tab that moves upor down on the right side of thedisplay screen as you scroll throughthe menus, providing a visualrepresentation of your currentposition in the menu structure.2. When you arrive at a menu, pressthe left selection key (or Select) toenter submenus.Select Back (the right selectionkey) to return to the previousmenu.Press the end key to return tostandby mode from any menu orsubmenu.In-phone helpMany features have brief descriptions(help text) which can be viewed on thedisplay. To view these descriptions,scroll to a feature and wait for about15 seconds. Select More to view all ofthe description, or select Back to exit.In order to view the descriptions, youmust first activate help text.In standby mode, select Menu >Settings > Phone settings > Help textactivation > On or Off.■ Security codesettingsYour device has a security option thatallows you to lock your phone with aPIN code. When the PIN code is set andturned on, no outgoing calls areallowed and the menu cannot beaccessed without entering the correctcode first. This prevents unauthorisedoutgoing calls or access to anyinformation stored on your device.
