If your wirelessservice provider or network operatorsupports this feature, then an MMScan be created in SMIL presentationformat. SMIL presentation formatmeans that MMS can hold multipleslides each containing one image, onesound clip and text; or a single slidethat contains text only. If supported byyour wireless service provider ornetwork operator, you may also be ableto receive business cards and calendarnotes. Maximum MMS size is reachedat 100 KB. If the maximum size isexceeded, the phone may not be ableto send or receive the message.The default setting of the multimediamessage service is generally on. Theappearance of a multimedia messagemay vary depending on the receivingdevice.Note: Only devices that offercompatible multimediamessage or e-mail featurescan receive and displaymultimedia messages.Multimedia message objectsmay contain viruses orotherwise be harmful to yourdevice or PC. Do not open anyattachment if you are not sureof the trustworthiness of thesender.Note: When your phone isdedicated to a call in progress,or if you are currently usingthe Voice recorder feature, orif the phone has an active webbrowser connection, then thephone cannot receivemultimedia messages.Multimedia messaging supports JPEG,GIF, PNG, BMP and WBMP pictureformats; MIDI, SP-MIDI andmonophonic ringing tones; QCELP andAMR audio encoders and decoders.Format supports may also depend onyour wireless service provider ornetwork operator.
