General information■ Access codesPIN codeThe PIN (Personal IdentificationNumber, 4 to 8 digits) code helps toprotect your SIM card againstunauthorised use. The PIN code isusually supplied with the SIM card.After three consecutive incorrectPIN code entries, the PIN code isblocked. If the PIN code is blocked,you need to unblock it with the PUKcode before you can use the SIMcard again.PIN2 codeThe PIN2 code (4 to 8 digits),supplied with some SIM cards, isrequired to access some functions.Lock codeThe lock code (5 digits) can be usedto lock the phone and keypad toavoid unauthorised use.The factory setting for the lock codeis 12345. To avoid unauthorised useof your phone, change the lock code.Keep the new code secret and in asafe place separate from your phone.PUK and PUK2 codesThe PUK (Personal Unblocking Key, 8digits) code is required to change ablocked PIN code.
