All rights reserved. 73■ File managerSelect Menu → Tools→ File manager.In the File manager, you can browse,open, and manage files and foldersin the phone memory or on thememory card, if you use one.Options in the File managermain view are: Open, Send, Delete,Move to folder, Copy to folder, Newfolder, Mark/Unmark, Rename, Find,Receive via infrared, View details,Memory details, Help, and Exit.Open the File manager to see a list ofthe folders in the phone memory.Move the joystick to the right to seethe folders on the memory card, ifyou use one.You can browse, open, and createfolders, mark, copy and move itemsto folders. See ”Actions common toall applications” on page 8.Copyright protections may preventsome images, ringing tones, andother content from being copied,modified, transferred or forwarded.Receiving files via InfraredSelect Options → Receive viainfrared.Files are automatically received intothe root level of the folder structureand can be moved or copied to otherfolders. See ”Infrared connection” onpage 111.Viewing memoryconsumptionSelect Options → Memorydetails.If you have a memory card installedin your phone, you have a choice oftwo memory views, one for thephone memory and one for thememory card.Move the joystick to the right or tothe left to move from one memorytab to another.To check memory consumption ofthe current memory select Options→ Memory details.The phone calculates theapproximate amount of free memoryfor storing data and installing newapplications.In the memory views, you can viewthe memory consumption of thedifferent data groups: Calendar,Contacts, Documents, Images,Sound files, Video clips, Messages,Applications, Mem. in use, and Freememory.If the phone memory is getting low,remove some files, or move them tothe memory card.
