If certain DRMsoftware fails to protect the content, content ownersmay ask that such DRM software's ability to access newDRM-protected content be revoked. Revocation mayalso prevent renewal of such DRM-protected contentalready in your device. Revocation of such DRMsoftware does not affect the use of content protectedwith other types of DRM or the use of non-DRM-protected content.Digital rights management (DRM) protected contentcomes with an associated activation key that definesyour rights to use the content.If your device has OMA DRM-protected content, to backup both the activation keys and the content, use thebackup feature of Nokia PC Suite. Other transfermethods may not transfer the activation keys whichneed to be restored with the content for you to be ableto continue the use of OMA DRM-protected contentafter the device memory is formatted. You may alsoneed to restore the activation keys in case the files onyour device get corrupted.If your device has WMDRM-protected content, both theactivation keys and the content will be lost if the devicememory is formatted. You may also lose the activationkeys and the content if the files on your device getcorrupted.
