ContactsYou can save names, phone numbers as contacts in thephone memory and on the SIM card memory and searchand recall them to make a phone call or to send amessage.Manage contactsSelect the memory for contactsThe phone memory can save contacts with additionaldetails, such as various phone numbers and text items.You can also save an image, a tone, or a video clip fora limited number of contacts.The SIM card memory can save names with one phonenumber attached to them. The contacts saved in theSIM card memory are indicated by .Select Menu > Contacts > Settings > Memory inuse. When you select Phone and SIM, contacts aresaved in the phone memory.Save names and numbersTo save a name and phone number, select Menu >Contacts > Add new.The first number you save is automatically set as thedefault number and is indicated with a frame aroundthe number type indicator (for example, ). When youselect a name from contacts (for example, to make acall), the default number is used unless you selectanother number.Search for a contactSelect Menu > Contacts > Names, and scroll throughthe list of contacts, or enter the first characters of thecontact's name.Add and edit detailsTo add or change a detail to a contact, select thecontact and Details > Options > Add detail.Copy or move contacts1. Select the first contact to copy or move andOptions > Mark.2. Mark the other contacts, and select Options >Copy marked or Move marked.Copy or move all contactsSelect Menu > Contacts > Copy contacts or Movecontacts.Delete contactsSelect the contact and Options > Delete contact.To delete all the contacts, select Menu > Contacts >Del. all contacts > From phone memory or FromSIM card.To delete a number, text item, or an image attached tothe contact, search for the contact, and select Details.Scroll to the desired detail, select Options > Deleteand the desired option.25 Contacts
