Ringing options,keypad tones, and other settings foreach of the available profiles can beleft at their default setting, orpersonalised to suit your needs. Thefollowing profiles are available:General, Silent, Meeting, Outdoor, andtwo customisable profiles.Profiles are also available forenhancements such as a headset andcar kit. See “Enhancement settings”,p. 70.Activate a profileIn standby mode, select Menu >Settings > Profiles > Normal, Silent,Meeting, Outdoor, or custom profile >Activate.Personalise a profileTo modify a profile, do the following:In standby mode, select Menu >Settings > Profiles > Normal, Silent,Meeting, Outdoor, Pager, or customprofile > Personalise > and a profileoption. You cannot rename the Normalprofile. To personalise profile tones, see“Tones”, p. 57.Set a timed profileTimed profiles can be used to preventmissed calls. For example, suppose youattend an event that requires yourphone be set to Silent before the eventstarts, but you forget to return it toNormal until long after the event. Atimed profile can prevent missed callsby returning your phone to the defaultprofile at a time you specify.To set a timed profile, do the following:1.
