All rights reserved. 23Messages (Menu 1)Copyright protections may prevent someimages, ringing tones, and other contentfrom being copied, modified, transferred,or forwarded.Write and send1 At the start screen, select Menu >Messages > Multimedia msgs. >Create message and press Select.2 Enter the text of your message andpress Options > Insert image orInsert sound clip and press Select.3 Choose the image or sound andpress Insert.4 Press Options > Send to number,Send to e-mail or Send to many,and press Select.5 Enter the number of the recipient orthe e-mail address and press Select.Read and replyWhen a multimedia message is beingreceived, appears. Once the messagehas been fully downloaded, andMultimedia message received appear.1 To view the message, press Show.2 To view the message later, press Exit> No when asked to discard.3 While viewing the message, selectOptions > Reply and press Select.4 Select a Start reply with option,and compose your reply using thekeypad.5 Press Options > Send and pressSelect.Note: If blinks andMultimedia memory full, viewwaiting msg. appears, deletesome of your old multimediamessages. See “Delete messages”on page 29 for more information.OptionsWhen you create an MMS, depending onthe mode of text input you are using,some or all of the following options areavailable:Send to number — Send themessage to a phone number.Send to e-mail — Send the messageto an e-mail address.Send to many — Send the messageto several recipients.Preview — View the MMS beforesending it.Insert image — Insert an image fromthe Gallery menu.Insert sound clip — Insert a soundclip from the Gallery menu.Clear text — Erase the textclipboard .Save message — Select Archive tosave the message in your archive;select Templates to save themessage as one of your predefinedtemplates.More options — Choose Insertcontact, Insert number, Messagedetails, or Edit subject.Exit editor — Save the message toyour archive automatically and leavethe message editor.Insert/Edit word — Enter or edit thetext of a new word that might notappear in the predictive textdictionary.Insert symbol — Insert a specialcharacter into your message.Predictive text — Choose apredictive text language and turnpredictive text on or off.Matches — View matches found in thedictionary for the word you are tryingto use.
