Key in theemergency number and press theTalk key. The number is displayedonly after you have keyed in itslast digit.DTMF tonesDTMF tones are the tones that sound whenyou press the keys on your phone’s keypad.You can use DTMF tones for manyautomated dial-up services such asbanking and airlines, or for entering yourvoice mailbox number and password.DTMF tones are sent during an active call.You can send them manually from yourphone’s keypad, or send themautomatically by saving them in yourphone.SET TYPE1 At the start screen, select Menu >Settings > Phone settings > DTMFtones > Manual DTMF tones andpress Select.2 Select one of the following optionsand press Select:Continuous — the tone sounds foras long as you press and hold a key.
