The network determines whichoptions actually appear in the phone’smenu. Check with your service providerfor more information.The Network menu allows you topersonalise the way your phone choosesa network in which to operate while youare within or outside of your primary orhome system. Your phone is set to searchfor the most cost-effective network. Ifyour phone can’t find a preferrednetwork, it selects a networkautomatically based on the option youchoose in the Network menu.• ROAMING OPTIONSYou can set your phone to “roam” orsearch for another network when you arenot in your home area.1 At the start screen, select Menu >Network > Roaming options andpress Select.2 Scroll to one of the followingoptions and press Select:Home Only — You can make andreceive calls in your home area only.While roaming, No Service appearsand you cannot make or receivecalls.Automatic — Your phoneautomatically selects the bestavailable network.3 Press OK, if necessary, to confirm theactivation.• MODEYour phone works in digital mode only. |
