Control (Ctrl)Pressed together with certain keyboard keys, thecontrol key generates shortcut commands whichcan be used in most viewers and text editors, see"Special features: Shortcuts" on page 2-13.6. Character (Chr)The character key is used to generate charactersnot on the communicator keyboard. A singlepress of the character key opens the specialcharacter table. Some special characters are alsoprinted on the keyboard as the third (green)character. These characters and certain othercharacters can be generated by pressing andholding the character key while pressing the cor-responding key, see Chapter 8 "Notes: Notes set-tings - Special characters" on page 8-3.7. Arrow keysThe arrow keys can be used to move the cursoror the selection frame (in the same way as thescroll keys). In some applications, the arrow keyshave special functions (see "Special features:Settings and Menus" on page 2-13).8. EnterWhen the cursor is shown, pressing Enter movesthe cursor to the beginning of the next line oradds a new line. The Enter key can also be usedto select contacts and contact information in theContacts directory and to open folders and docu-ments. When information notes (like a missed callnotification) are shown, you may press Enter in-stead of the OK command. In options and set-tings, when a value can be toggled, you may pressEnter instead of Change.9. HelpPress the Help key to activate a context-sensitivehelp.Special featuresCommunicator helpThe texts in the Help section deal with issues re-lating to the feature or application that was onthe display when the Help button was pressed.The application icon on the left side of the screenrepresents the application where help was re-quested.
