The first page of thedocument will be the first fax page.• Begin sending — Lets you choose when thefax is sent:Immediately — The fax is sent right away.At [time] — You can determine the timewhen the fax is sent. Use the time formathh:mm. This option enables you to takeadvantage of cheaper calling times.• Receive resolution:Standard — The fax will be received using200 (width) x 100 (height) dots per inch(dpi) resolution.Fine — (200 x 200 dpi). Receiving faxeswith fine resolution will take longer andrequires approximately twice as muchmemory as with standard resolution.• Send resolution:Standard — 200 x 100 dpi.Fine — (200 x 200 dpi). Sending faxes withfine resolution takes longer and temporar-ily requires more free memory than whenusing standard resolution.• Logo file — Enables you to add for exampleyour company’s logo to the fax cover page(the logo is not shown in the Cover pageview).None — No logo is attached to the fax.[File name] — All the available gif and jpgfiles in the Downloaded files folder arelisted in the pop-up box. Select the oneyou want to attach to the fax.• Signature file — Allows you to add yoursignature to the fax cover page. Select the oneyou want to attach to the fax.• Fax barring and Fax diverting — These aresupplementary services, like normal voice callbarring and diverting.Fax barring — You can place restrictionson outgoing and incoming faxes.Fax diverting — You can divert incomingfaxes to another fax. For more informationand instructions on how to change divert-ing and barring settings, see chapter 4 "Tel-ephone: Telephone settings" on page 4-6.• Resend — Allows you to choose which pageswill be sent again if the fax sending has failedand the Document outbox tries to send thefax again.All pages — All pages are resent.Missed pages — Only the pages whichwere not sent completely are resent.• ECM in reception — When the Error CorrectionMode is On, any faxes containing errors areautomatically received again until the defectsare corrected. This may prolong the fax call.• Fax polling — Some networks provide thisservice which allows you to make a fax call toa number specified by the network, thenreceive certain information by fax. Contactyour network service provider for furtherdetails.Note: When you set Fax polling to On, Fax poll-ing becomes one of the commands in theFax main view.• Alternate fax receiving — As default, thissetting must be set to As fax. If you need toreceive alternate voice/fax calls, you must setthis to As voice/fax. This setting applies alsoto the Fax modem application.
