Using your game deck as a phone27Memory card passwordYou can set a password to lock your memory card againstunauthorised use.Note: The password is stored in your game deck andyou don’t have to enter it again while you are using thememory card on the same game deck. If you want touse the memory card on another game deck, you will beasked for the password.Setting, changing, or removing your password• Select Options→ Set password, Change password, orRemove password.For every option you will be asked to enter and confirmyour password. The password can be up to eight characterslong.Important: Once the password is removed, thememory card is unlocked and can be used on anothergame deck without a password.Unlocking a memory cardIf you insert another password protected memory card inyour game deck, you will be prompted to enter thepassword of the card.• To unlock the card, select Options→ Unlock memory card.Checking memory consumptionUsing the Mem. in use option, you can check the memoryconsumption of different data groups and the availablememory for installing new applications or software onyour memory card.• Select Options→ Mem. in use.
