Music player and radio32Recording from external equipmentYou can connect your game deck to compatible externalaudio equipment, for example, a CD-player, and recordmusic directly to your game deck.Note: Do not use this feature illegally! Music canbe protected by copyright. The recording of such musictracks is permitted for your personal use only. It isillegal to copy such music tracks for the purpose ofselling or distribution.To record a music track from compatible external audioequipment.1 Connect the external audio equipment. See ‘Attachingand using the supplied cables’, p. 15 for moreinformation.2 Press Menu→ Media→ Music Player.3 Press or tohighlight the recordcontrol buttonand then press torecord.To stop recording pressStop.Note: Theautomatic track name‘Record (n)’ isgenerated, where n isincreased by one for each new track.Tip! To change the track name (Record n), pressOptions→ Track list → Rename.You can answer and make calls while recording. Thevolume of the music player is muted but recordingcontinues in the background. When you end the call, themusic player view will automatically return.RadioNote: Your game deck must be switched on to usethis function. Do not switch the game deck on whenwireless device use is prohibited or when it may causeinterference or danger.Go to Menu→ Media → Radio to open Radio or press.You can listen to the Radio in your game deck by using theheadset (See ‘Attaching and using the headset’, p. 14) orthe loudspeaker. The lead of the headset functions as theantenna of the radio, so let it hang freely and always makesure it is connected.To adjust the volume level of the headset or theloudspeaker, press or to increase or decrease thevolume level.Note: The quality of the radio broadcast depends onthe radio station’s coverage in that particular area.
