The transfer time depends on the amount of data to betransferred.Lock the keypadTo lock or unlock the keys, use the lock switch on theright side of the device, or close or open the 2-wayslide.To set the keypad to lock automatically after a time-out, select Menu > Tools > Settings and General >Security > Phone and SIM card > Keypad autolockperiod.To select whether to lock the keypad when the 2-wayslide is closed, select Menu > Tools > Settings andGeneral > Slide handling > Keyguard activation.Find itemsWhen a search field is available in the application, youcan use the search field to search for a name, file, orapplication.1. To search for an item, enter text in the search field.The device will immediately start to search andfilter the entries matching to the text you input. Themore texts you input, the more accurate the searchresult will be. When entering text, use the inputmethods included in your device. The current inputmethod indicator will be shown in the search fieldnear the magnifier icon.2. After finding your needed item, press the scroll keyto open it.Offline profileTo activate the offline profile, press the power keybriefly, and select Offline.The offline profile lets you use the device withoutconnecting to the wireless cellular network. When youactivate the offline profile, the connection to thecellular network is turned off, as indicated by in thesignal strength indicator area. All radio frequency (RF)signals to and from the device to the cellular networkare prevented. If you try to send messages using thecellular network, they are placed in the Outbox folderto be sent later.When the offline profile is active, you can use yourdevice without a SIM card.If the SIM card is not properly in place, the device startsin the offline profile.Important: In the Offline profile you cannotmake or receive any calls, or use other features thatrequire cellular network coverage.
