AG 3100The Subscriber Interface 247Internal and External Web ServersThe AG 3100 supports both internal and external Web servers which act as a login interfacebetween subscribers and the solution provider’s network, including the Internet. The internalWeb server is “flashed” into the system’s memory and the login page is served directly fromthe AG 3100. In the external Web server model, the AG 3100 redirects the subscriber’s loginrequest to an external server. Either method is transparent to the subscriber; however, theadvantage of using the internal Web server is obvious – no login redirection tasks and a fasterresponse time for the subscriber.Language SupportThe AG 3100’s subscriber interface supports many Asian and European languages, including:English, Chinese, French, German, Japanese, and Spanish.Home Page RedirectionThe AG 3100 can be configured to redirect all valid subscribers to a Web portal or home pagedetermined by the solution provider. After a specified time, from the first home pageredirection (determined by the system administrator), subscribers are redirected again to theportal at the next Web page request.
