MGC Serial Ports 27MGC serial port default configurationThe default settings for the serial ports are• Baud rate = 9600• Number of data bits = 8• Number of stop bits = 1• Parity = none• Flow control = noneMGC serial ports configuration change in Overly 17If you configure the serial ports on an MG 1000B with MGC as SL1 terminalson the Call Server, then the baud rate, number of data bits, number of stopbits, parity, and flow control are configured in LD 17.Any values configured in LD 17 are downloaded to the MGC and overridethe default values. The downloaded values are stored on the MGC andpersist over restarts and power outages.
