MG 1000T faults can disable network equipment. An OVD message indicates a network loop is disabled and all connectionson the loop are disabled. The network loop number corresponds to aspecific card number in the MG 1000T. System messages can also indicatethat one or more cards are defective or disabled without producing anOVD message. In either case, look up all system messages in SoftwareInput/Output Reference – System Messages (NN43001-712) and followthe instructions given.Manual continuity tests can be used to isolate faults. See LD 30 in SoftwareInput/Output Reference – Maintenance (NN43001-711) for details onperforming the tests.Nortel Communication Server 1000Communication Server 1000E MaintenanceNN43041-700 01.02 StandardRelease 5.0 20 June 2007Copyright © 2007, Nortel Networks.
