Help prompts at the bottom of each menu andscreen explain how to enter data in the highlighted field and how to navigate themenus and screens.The Console Port default settings are: 9600 baud with eight data bits, one stop bit,and no parity as the communications format, with flow control set to disabled.Some CI screen options allow you to toggle among several possible values; otheroptions allow you to set or modify a parameter.Navigating the CI menus and screensUse the following methods to navigate the CI menus and screens.To select a menu option:1 Use the arrow keys to highlight the option name.2 Press [Enter].The option takes effect immediately after you press [Enter].Alternatively, you can press the key corresponding to the underlined letter inthe option name. For example, to select the Switch Configuration option inthe main menu, press the w key. Note that the text characters are notcase-sensitive.Additional navigation aids follow:• To toggle between values in a form:— Use the spacebar to highlight the value.— Press [Enter].• To clear a string field:— Position the cursor in the string field.— Press [Ctrl]-K.• To return to the previous menu, press [Ctrl]-R.
