Itconnects directly to the LAN through the Ethernet connection.The IP Phone 2007 translates voice into data packets for transport usingInternet Protocol. A Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) servercan be used to provide information that enables the IP Phone 2007 networkconnection, and connection to the Voice Gateway Media Card. TheIP Phone 2007 uses the customer’s IP network to communicate with the CallServer.
