Advanced Tab ItemsItem DescriptionDwell Time The dwell time is the length of time a radio uses before it “hops” toanother frequency. Choose a time between 1 and 390 (TUs).Hop Sequence With frequency hopping, a radio transmits and receives on onefrequency for a short period of time and then pseudo-randomlymoves to another frequency every dwell time. This technologyreduces susceptibility to interference from other transmitters andnoise sources in the same 2.4 GHz range since transmission isconstantly shifting from one frequency to the next.
