You must power down the serverto replace the power supply.ATTENTIONDo not remove the power supply while the system is running. Power down thesystem and unplug the power supply before removing the power supply. For instructions, see "Replacing theMPB96 card" (page 86).4 Lift up the rear of the power supply until it clears the two half-circlestops at the rear of the power supply. See letters A and B in Figure20 "Removing the power supply" (page 81).5 While holding the rear of the power supply above the stops, pushback at the front of the power supply to disconnect it from the powerboard.
