Enter the root user ID and passwordin the login dialog.3 Open a console window and change to the /tmp directory. Entercd /tmp ↵4 Create a new directory to store the CD-ROM installation files. Entermkdir /cdrom ↵5 Mount the CD-ROM in the directory created. Entermount /dev/dsk/ /cdrom ↵wheredevice name is the name of the CD-ROM drive. For example c1t2d0.6 Create a new user directory to store the CD-ROM installation files. Entermkdir /tmp/br_install ↵7 Change to the new directory. Entercd /tmp/br_install ↵8 Save and restore the archive of the files to a storage location. Entertar xf /cdrom/install.tar ↵9 Run the installation script. Enter./br_install ↵—continued—
