This is thedefault setting.• payload-loop sends a loop-up signal to the remote end to initiate payloadloopback. The signal loops through the T1 framing device before the receivedsignal is looped back for retransmission.• deactivate-pl sends a loop-down code to the remote end to stop the payloadloopback.• line-loopci sends a customer installation (CI) loopback message. The signaldoes not go through the framing device.
