MENU FUNCTIONS > 75COLOUR MENUThe printer automatically adjusts colour balance and density atappropriate intervals, optimising the printed output for bright whitepaper viewed in natural daylight conditions. The items on this menuprovide a means of changing the default settings for special orparticularly difficult print jobs. Settings revert to their default valueswhen the next print job is complete.COLOUR MENUItem Settings ExplanationDENSITY CONTROL AUTOMANUALIf set to AUTO, image density will beautomatically adjusted at power on, when anew image drum or toner cartridge isinstalled, and at intervals of 100, 300 and500 drum counts. If a 500 drum countinterval occurs during a print job it will occurat the end of that job, and will take up to 55seconds.
