3 – 35EpsonThe ESC A command both sets and begins n/60 inch line spacing.IBMYou must use the ESC A and ESC 2 commands together. ESC A specifies line spacingof n/72 inch or n/60 inch, and then the ESC 2 command tells the printer to begin using thenew line spacing. (The other commands both specify and begin spacing.) If you sendan ESC 2 command without first using ESC A, the printer will reset the line spacingto the current menu setting.You can use the ESC [ \ command to change the units used in the fine line commandsESC 3 and ESC % 8. The only possible values for n are 180 for n/180 inch spacing; 216for n/216 inch spacing; and 0 to keep the current unit.When you send a form feed command, the printer prints any data that is in its buffer,and the print position moves to the top of the next page. You can also use the FORMFEED button on the control panel to feed a page through the printer.You can specify a form length in either inches or lines.
