78 ENProvisions of warranty1 If this product proves to be defective, although it has beenused properly (in accordance with the written HandlingCare and Operating instructions supplied with it), during theapplicable national warranty period and has been purchasedfrom an authorized Olympus distributor within the businessarea of Olympus Europa Holding GmbH as stipulated onthe website: http://www.olympus.com this product will berepaired, or at Olympus’s option replaced, free of charge.To claim under this warranty the customer must take theproduct before the end of the applicable national warrantyperiod to the dealer where the product was purchased or anyother Olympus service station within the business area ofOlympus Europa Holding GmbH as stipulated on the website:http://www.olympus.com. During the one year period of theWorld Wide Guarantee the customer may turn the product inat any Olympus service station. Please notice that not in allcountries such Olympus service station exists.2 The customer shall transport the product to the dealer orOlympus authorized service station at his own risk and shallbe responsible for any costs incurred in transporting theproduct.Provisions of Guarantee1 “OLYMPUS IMAGING CORP., Shinjuku Monolith, 2-3-1Nishi-Shinjuku, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo 163-0914, Japan grants aone year World Wide Guarantee. This worldwide Guaranteemust be presented at an Olympus authorized repair servicestation before any repair can be made under conditionsof this Guarantee. This Guarantee is valid only if theGuarantee Certifi cate and proof of purchase are presentedat the Olympus repair service station.
