Using Play List: Play List Function 67Using Play List16.REVIEW buttonTo review all events at the cursor position, hold downthe SHIFT button and press the PLAY button. Playbackstarts 3 s before the IN point and stops 1 s after theOUT point.Any unfinalized events are also previewed in theoverwrite edit mode regardless of cursor location.Thus all unfinalized events are played back.17.RESET button17.RESET + 6.IN / 9.OUT / 22.SPLIT buttonsIn the event register/edit screen or in the overwrite editplayer/recorder screen, hold down the IN, OUT orSPLIT button and press the RESET button to delete theIN, OUT or SPLIT point of the selected event. (TheSPLIT point is available also in the play list.) Pressingthe RESET button when trimming R IN/OUT or P IN/OUT point (SHIFT + IN/OUT) deletes the registeredpoints.10.SHIFT + 17.RESET buttonsIn the play list screen, hold down the SHIFT button andpress the RESET button to create a new play list file(fulfils the same function as [FILE] – [NEW]).18.MOVE buttonUse this function to move an event to another line whilethe play list is displayed. Use the SET button to selectan event you want to move when the play list isdisplayed. Then move the cursor to the line you want tomove the event to and press this button to move theselected event to the location right before the cursor.19.GO TO button19.GO TO + 6.IN / 9.OUT / 22.SPLIT buttonsUse these buttons in the event register/edit screen andin the overwrite edit player/recorder screen (theEVENT button blinks) to locate the IN, OUT and SPLITpoints. During normal playback, still playback andother playback operations, hold down the IN (OUT orSPLIT) button and press the GO TO button to move tothe IN (OUT or SPLIT) point and resume playback fromthere.In the overwrite edit mode, the playback location (▼ inyellow) can be moved to the IN or OUT point of anevent at the cursor location in the play list.20.DELETE buttonUse this button to delete events when the play list isdisplayed. Place the cursor on the event you want todelete and press the SET button to select it. Then holddown the SHIFT button and press the INSERT button todelete the selected event.21.INSERT buttonInsert editing in the insert mode allows you to enternew events between existing play list events. Place thecursor on the event you want to insert and press thisbutton to engage the event register mode and insertthe event while viewing the video of the event. Duringoverwrite editing in the insert mode, you can select theoverwriting segment while viewing the video ofoverwriting event (player side).Press this button again or the EVENT button to return tothe play list screen.22.SPLIT button10.SHIFT + 22.SPLIT buttonsHolding down the SHIFT button and pressing theSPLIT button in the play list displays detailed eventinformation at the cursor.For details on other operations, refer to the descriptionof 7. ENTRY button, 12. TRIM+ / – button and 17.RESET button.23.EVENT buttonUse to open the event register/edit mode when theplay list is displayed. At this time the screen showsvideo.24.REC buttonUse the REC button in the overwrite edit mode tofinalize any unfinalized events. When there are nooverwritten unfinalized events, the event at the cursorcan be turned into an overwritten unfinalized event(recalled).
