3Chapter 1: Operations in AVCHD modeYou can add the name of the videographer,shooting location, text memos and otherinformation to the video data you have recorded onthe SD Memory Card. This data is called the clipmetadata.Display clip metadata with the META DATA PROPitem (Page 103) in the setting menu RECORDSETUP screen.There are two kinds of clip metadata: the data thatis recorded automatically during shooting, and thedata in the metadata upload file created on the SDMemory Card which is loaded in the unit.What the clip metadata consists ofYou can set the items underlined below by loadingthe metadata upload file on the SD MemoryCard. All other items are set automatically duringshooting.CLIP NAME:* 1This indicates the LOAD DATA (loaded data),COUNT (counter value), and REC DATA(recorded data).ACCESS:This indicates the CREATOR (name of theperson recording) and LAST UPDATE PERSON(the person who last updated the data).SHOOT:This indicates the SHOOTER (name of thevideographer) and the PLACE NAME (name oflocation).SCENARIO: * 2This indicates the PROGRAM NAME, SCENENO. and TAKE NO.NEWS 1:This indicates the REPORTER (name of thereporter) and PURPOSE (purpose of datacollection).NEWS 2:This indicates the OBJECT (target of datacollection).MEMO1:This indicates the PERSON (name of the personwho recorded the text memo).MEMO2:This indicates the TEXT (contents of memo).* 1 If there is no information in the metadata uploadfile, consecutive five-digit numbers will beapplied to the clips in the order that they wererecorded, with the first clip to be recorded beinggiven the number 0. The USER CLIP NAMErecording method is selectable. Please refer tothe page 4.* When SCENARIO is to be input, you must inputthe PROGRAM NAME. You cannot input theSCENE NO. and TAKE NO. only.Only printable ASCII characters can bedisplayed by this unit.Due to the limitations imposed by this uniton the number of characters which can bedisplayed, not all the data can be displayed.(This does not mean that the data which is notdisplayed has been deleted.) Use an AVCCAMviewer or other program to check all the data.Metadata can be produced with AVCCAMViewer.
