16EnglishCleaning thoroughlyCleaning with water• Turn the shaver off and disconnect the AC adaptor.1 Apply some hand soap and somewater to the system outer foil.2 Press for more than2 seconds to activate the sonicvibration cleaning mode.• Splashing of foam is suppressed.• The battery capacity lamps blink in order.• After about 20 seconds, it will beautomatically turned off, or you can turnit off by pressing the power switch.3 Remove the outer foil sectionand clean with running water.• See page 17 for attaching andremoving the outer foil section.• Splashing is reduced by rinsing theshaver in sonic vibration cleaning mode.• After rinsing with water, shake the shaver up and down for afew times to remove excess moisture and then wipe off anydrops of water with a dry cloth.4 Attach the outer foil sectionand dry with the self-cleaningrecharger.1. Insert the shaver into the self‑cleaning recharger and plug theadaptor into a household outlet.• Check that the charge statuslamp ( ) is glowing.1212. Press twice.The DRY lamp glows, and the “Dry/Charge” mode will startafter approximately 6 seconds.• It is possible to change to the “AUTO” mode even after the“Dry/Charge” mode has started.Dry180 minCharge0 to 60 min3.
