20EnglishTroubleshootingPerform the following actions.If the problems still cannot be solved or all self‑cleaningrecharger’s lamps blink, contact the store where you purchasedthe unit or a service center authorized by Panasonic for repair.►Self-cleaning rechargerProblem ActionThe blade has not beenthoroughly washed.Do not add detergent and waterexcept when replacing thecleaning liquid.Doing so may deteriorate thecleaning function.(See page 18.)After cleaning, oil‑like droplets mayremain on the outside of the foilframe. This is the lubricatingcomponent of the cleaning liquidand does not indicate a problem.You may wipe it off with a soft cloth.The blades are not dry orare sticky.The blades may not dry quickly dueto temperature conditions.Run the “Dry/Charge” mode again orwipe with a soft cloth before shaving.The blades crack ordeform during cleaning.Do not insert any foreign objectsinto the recharger.Replace the system outer foil and/or inner blades. (See page 17.)Problem ActionThe cleaning liquid hasfoamed.If you mix soapy water or handsoap with the detergent or useanother detergent, the cleaningliquid will foam. Use the self‑cleaning recharger afterthoroughly washing and dryingthe shaver.Replace the cleaning liquid.(See page 18.)Cleaning liquid hasaccumulated in thecleaning tray.Remove any waste, etc. that hasaccumulated in the drain at thebottom of the cleaning tray.(See page 18.)If you use the self‑cleaningrecharger when the shaver is wetor when soap or shaving gel is onthe shaver, cleaning liquid mayaccumulate in the cleaning tray.Cleaning liquid leakedfrom the cleaning liquidunit.Do not press the cleaning liquid unitremoval button during any mode.Place the self‑cleaning rechargerhorizontally.If you use the self‑cleaningrecharger when the shaver is wet orwhen soap or shaving gel is on theshaver, cleaning liquid may leak.The cleaning liquid unitcannot be removed.Place the self‑cleaning rechargeron a hard, flat surface.(See page 12.)
