74Setting Data Using an SD memory cardAn SD memory card (optional accessory) can be usedas a setup card that stores up to eight files of settingsmenu specifications.Use of this data speeds up the process of reproducingsuitable setup statuses.O The SD memory cards used with this unit do notcomply with the SD standards. Do not use the SDmemory cards formatted with other camera-recorders.SD memory cards that have been formatted onpersonal computers (NTFS, FAT32) cannot beused with this unit. They also may not be formattedon this unit.SD memory cards with the following capacity (8 MB- 512 MB) can be used for the unit:8 MB, 16 MB, 32 MB, 64 MB, 128 MB,256 MB, 512 MBHow to eject the SD memory cardOpen the cover by raising its bottom edge, and ejectthe SD memory card.Take care not to touch the connector on the edge ofthe SD memory card directly.How to insert the SD memory cardWith the surface bearing the logo facing you, insertthe SD memory card into the SD memory card slot,and close the cover.Check that the surface bearing the logo is facing youand the lettering is not upside down before insertingthe card.When inserting the card, check the direction in whichthe card is pointing, and if it does not slide neatly intoplace, it means that the card may be pointing in thewrong direction or that it may be upside down. Do notforce the card into place but check which is the frontand back and which is the top and bottom, and tryinserting the card again.Bear in mind the following points when usingand saving the SD memory cards.O Avoid high temperatures and high humidity levels.O Keep the cards away from water.O Avoid exposing the cards to electrical charges.Keep the SD memory card inside the unit with thecover closed.SD memory card operations
