2.1 B2.1.1 BGM (Background Music)DescriptionA proprietary telephone (PT) user can listen to background music (BGM) through the built-in speaker whileon-hook and idle. The following audio sources are available:a. External music sourceb. Internal music sourcec. Outgoing Message (OGM)BGM—External:BGM can also be broadcast in the office through an external pager (loudspeaker) and can be turned on andoff by an extension assigned as a manager.Conditions[BGM]• Hardware requirement: User-supplied music source (when an external music source is assigned).• The music heard through the PT is interrupted when going off-hook.• Each extension user can select the audio source.• Through system programming, it is possible to specify the maximum number of IP-PTs connected to aV-IPEXT card that can simultaneously perform the BGM feature.
