Making/Answering Calls20 For assistance, please visit http://www.panasonic.com/consumersupportMaking calls using thehandset1 Lift the handset and press {C}.L “Talk” will be displayed.2 Dial the phone number.3 When finished talking, press {OFF} orplace the handset on the base unit orcharger.Note:L The IN USE indicator on the base unitlights while the handset user is on anoutside conversation.To adjust the receiver volume3 levels (high/medium/low) are available.While using the receiver, push the joystickup or down repeatedly.To use the speakerphone1 Lift the handset and press {s}.L “SP-phone” will be displayed.2 Dial the phone number.3 When the other party answers, speakinto the microphone.4 When finished talking, press {OFF} orplace the handset on the base unit orcharger.Note:L Talk alternately with the caller in a quietroom.L If the other party has difficulty hearingyou, push the joystick down to decreasethe speaker volume.L While on a call, you can switch from thereceiver to the speakerphone bypressing {s}.
