Caller ID ServiceFor assistance, please visit http://www.panasonic.com/consumersupport 33L When you receive a call while on thephone, the 2nd caller’s name will not beannounced even if you subscribe to bothCaller ID and Call Waiting with Caller IDservices.L If this feature is turned off, caller nameswill not be announced (page 55, 58).L If an outside call is received while on anintercom call between the handset andbase unit, the other handsets will ring,but the caller’s name will not beannounced.Ringer ID and light-up IDThis feature can help you identify who iscalling by using different ringers and ringerindicator colors for different callers storedin the phonebook. You can assign adifferent ringer and indicator color to eachphonebook item. When a call is receivedfrom a caller stored in the phonebook, theringer and indicator color are used afterCaller ID information is displayed.L Usually the ringer and indicator color willbe changed from the 2nd ring.Ringer IDYou can assign a different ringer tone toeach caller in the phonebook. If you select“No Ringer ID” (default), the unit will usethe ringer tone you set on page 49 when acall is received from that caller.1 Press {C} (right soft key).2 Push the joystick up or down repeatedlyto display the desired item.3 Press {OPTION}.4 Press {1} to select “Ringer ID”.5 To select a tone or melody, scroll to“Tone & Melody”, then press{SELECT}.ORTo select a song, scroll to“Customized ring”, then press{SELECT}.6 Push the joystick up or down repeatedlyto select the desired item.7 Press {SAVE}, then press {OFF}.Note:L To erase a song, see page 51 and 53.
