Using a Bluetooth wirelessheadset (optional) forlandline callsBy pairing a Bluetooth headset to the baseunit, you can have a hands-free conversationwirelessly for landline calls.Important:R Your Bluetooth wireless headset mustsupport the HeadSet Profile (HSP)specification.R 1 headset can be paired to the base unit.R Only 2 Bluetooth devices can be used withthe unit at the same time (for example, 2cellular lines, or the headset and 1 cellularline).R For best performance, we recommendusing a Bluetooth headset within 1 m(3.3 feet) of the base unit. A headset cancommunicate with the base unit within arange of approximately 10 m (33 feet).Pairing a headset to the base unitImportant:R Make sure that the Bluetooth headset is notconnected to any other Bluetooth device.1 Your headset:Set your headset to pairing mode.R Refer to the headset operatinginstructions.2 Handset:MMENUN#6213 If your headset PIN is “0000”, go tostep 4.If your headset PIN is other than“0000”, press MCLEARN, then enter yourheadset PIN.R Typically, default PIN is “0000”.
