Problem Cause/solutionI cannot connect a cellularphone to the base unit.R Confirm that your cellular phone is turned on.R Confirm that your cellular phone is within base unit range(page 14).R Your cellular phone’s Bluetooth feature is turned off. Turnit on.R Depending on the state of the wireless environment, suchas the presence of any electrical interference, there maybe a delay even if the auto connection feature is turnedon. You can connect to the base unit manually (page 19).R The cellular phone has not been paired to the base unit.Pair the cellular phone (page 17).R If your cellular phone is already connected to anotherBluetooth device such as a Bluetooth headset or otherPanasonic DECT phone, disconnect the device, thenperform the connecting procedure to the base unit.R If your cellular phone is already registered on anotherPanasonic DECT phone, this function will not workproperly. We strongly recommend that you remove theregistration of this phone on both your cellular phone andon the other Panasonic DECT phone.I cannot hear a dial tone. R Make sure that the CELL indicator lights up (page 15).R The base unit’s AC adaptor or telephone line cord is notconnected. Check the connections.R Disconnect the base unit from the telephone line andconnect the line to a known working telephone. If theworking telephone operates properly, contact our servicepersonnel to have the unit repaired. If the workingtelephone does not operate properly, contact your phoneservice provider.The indicator on the handsetflashes slowly.R New messages have been recorded.
