RAMErasing parts of a program (Partial Erase)You can divide a selected program into two.RAMDividing programs (Divide)– 27 –Using the SEARCH PROGRAM (continued)To stop partway throughSelect “Cancel” in step (8) and press [ENTER] or [RETURN].To erase another part of the same programSelect “Next” in step (7) and perform step (8), then repeat steps(5)–(8).For your reference:• Use search and slow-motion to find the points.• You cannot specify an end point before a start point or a startpoint after an end point.• You may not be able to specify start and end points within 3seconds of each other.• You cannot specify start and end points if the picture recorded is stilled.(6) Use search functions such as fast-forward andslow-motion to find the end point of the part youwant to erase and press [ENTER].(6) Use [ , ] to select “Exit” and press [ENTER].(7) Use [ ] to select “Divide” and press [ENTER].• The program is divided at the point.(7) Use [ , ] to select “Exit” and press [ENTER].(8) Use [ ] to select “Erase” and press [ENTER].• Play lists created with the erased part are also erased.
